First-Year Friday: Spring Capsule Wardrobe

You made it to spring of your first year of law school, and by now you are getting familiar with the process.

You’ll do fine if you do the work. Pay attention in class. Take notes on what your professor discusses. Give yourself time to study for your finals.

And as you tackle the last few months of your 1L year, you can boost your confidence with some spring pieces. Shake off what’s left of winter and last semester, and focus on all of possibilities ahead.

Color can boost your mood, and in a professional silhouette, it can help you create a powerful look.

The easiest item to style for spring is a midi dress. You can add layers when you need, but you’ll also be ready when the sun peeks through. Plus, you don’t need to spend a great deal of money on a bunch of separates.

As for layers, an oversized white blazer is the most universal option. A bold color can also work well, so long as it works with multiple dresses.
